Happy Birthday Moon poems

Happy Birthday, Moon!
I will give you a red lipstick to make your lips look stunning so Mars fancies you!
Bright yellow trainers so you can run around and get fit,
A dark green Christmas tree for your Christmas presents to go under,
and a silver disco ball to boogie and stay up all night.

I will give you a blue chair so I can come and read you some stories,
a pair of white cowboy boots so you can be ever so cool!
A pink, fluffy, cuddly teddy to cuddle at night,
and lots of multi coloured jewellery to be totally blingy.

Happy Birthday, Moon!
I will give you a shiny, red bike to whiz around the rings of Saturn,
a big juicy bright yellow lemon to suck forever,
A green telescope to look at the wonders of the world
and a silver centaur to ride around space.

I will give you a blue cat to accompany you because you must be lonely,
a lovely white Jaguar to whizz around space,
an orange jumper to keep you warm
and a gold medal to show the other planets that you won the running race.

Happy Birthday, Moon!

I will give you some red pants so your bottom doesn’t get cold,
one hundred yellow bananas so you don’t get hungry,
a green scarf that will keep you warm in space
and a silver miniature moon so you won’t get lonely.

I will give you a black kitten, who will be your friend forever,
some chocolates so you can have a treat,
an elephant that can look after you,
and some gold pants so you can dance in a really cool disco!

I will give you some red socks so that your feet don’t get cold,
a yellow unicycle so that you can be in the circus,
some green eggs and ham to see if you like the taste,
and a silver disco ball so that you can have a party with Saturn and Neptune.
I will give you a blue sea to swim in,
some white frost to run in
a purple pair of gloves to keep your hands warm
and the Goldfinger movie to watch at night.

Happy Birthday, Moon!
I will give you a red rose to impress the sun,
a yellow piece of gold to make the sun jealous,
a green pearl necklace to show off your style
and a silver unicorn to ride around space.

I will give you a blue rabbit for luck so you never lose your powers,
a piece of white chocolate to get some flavour into your mouth,
a pink teddy to comfort you at night,
and a multicoloured friend so you never get lonely again.

Happy Birthday, Moon!
I will give you some red hair dye to show off your punky mohican,
some double yellow lines to stop astronauts parking on you,
some handy green gardening equipment to impress Mars
and a pair of killer heels to break your ankle whilst walking.

I will give you a blue scarf to keep you warm,
a brown chocolate fountain to ladle chocolate into your mouth,
a grey chocolate factory so you never run out of chocolate for your fountain,
and a gold wig so you aren’t bald anymore.

Norwich Castle - Alex

Our Egyptian Day At The Castle Museum by Alex
On the 5th November Badger and Oak class went to the Norwich Castle museum to learn more about the Ancient Egyptians.

First we arrived at school as normal, went to the toilet and hopped on the coach for a short trip into Norwich. On the way some people had packed a pencil and paper and were drawing and writing .When we finally got to the castle at about ten ‘clock it was pouring with rain!

So we raced up the stairs and into the warm and dry. We saw other schools there to. Next we were herded into a big room with comfy seats and were faced with an argument, weather to take things from the tomb and display them or to leave them so the mummies can go to the afterlife.

Next we were split into groups and were herded into different rooms. Our group stayed in the auditorium with Dr Derry. We were sat at tables and looked at Egyptian artefacts and talked about the gods.

When it ended we walked out of the auditorium and into the art gallery for living like an Egyptian .First we went to sleep and woke up In Ancient Egypt. After that we picked fruit for our breakfast and milked a goat. After that we ground some grain to make flower and made flat-bread.  Next we did some Egyptian work and paraded round with bells to wake up the gods for Tutankhamen’s coronation. After that we had a pretend feast and that means the end of our second activity.

Next we had lunch and went into the education room for mummification. After that we talked about the proses of mummification which included smelling oils and wrapping each other’s fingers up in bandages
